August – Monthly Summary:
As of 17th Aug 22, the first login to the prototype Mapscape Lt Desktop and Mobile applications was achieved. First impressions are very responsive, with both interfaces very user friendly, including an slick efficient web form layout to record tree survey data / image capture functions.
Evolving Improvements:
01 – 11 Aug 22 – The pricing model developed a draft calculation for use by individual and multiple users.
The BS 5837 Tree Survey Software page is updated to highlight new GIS tree surveying features including cross platform access.
12 Aug 22 – The GIS development platform was set up with team permissions enabled allowing the Cloud software framework to be initiated, ready for a rapid phase of build and tree survey software testing.
17th Aug 22 – Access to the working prototype and run initial data capture test.
The Trees and Climate Change page is updated to highlight arboricultural climatic tree management opportunities using GIS cloud based technology.
The Pricing is moved to the checkout for testing.
Benefits to the User:
The tree surveying software is now functional and in the testing phase on both Desktop and Android Mobile devices
The importance of Trees as climatic regulators and the urgency for inclusion in tree management software is advanced.
Proof of Concept:
