Esri UK Nonprofit Programme
Designed for organisations providing public benefit without operating for-profit.
- Mission Focus: Must primarily focus on environmental conservation, humanitarian relief, community service, or public information.
- Eligible Entities: Charities (registered or unregistered), community interest companies (CICs), and other non-profit entities.
- Ineligible Entities: Hospitals, government agencies, commercial organisations, and political organisations.
- Requirement: Organisations must not be formed for-profit and must have a charitable, non-profit, or voluntary purpose.
Esri UK Education Programme
Offers GIS access to schools and academic institutions.
- Schools (Primary/Secondary): Free ArcGIS Online access is provided to support UK schools (GCSE, A Level, Highers or equivalent).
- Higher Education: Universities and colleges can access special agreements (e.g., CHEST) for research and teaching, generally covering education above level 3.
- Usage: Software must be used for instruction, academic research, or student projects, not for administrative or commercial purposes.
Esri UK Application Process
- Nonprofit: Applications must be submitted through the Esri UK website for verification of status.
- Schools/Higher Education: Schools can sign up directly via the Teach with GIS UK website
